Haha, heartbreak in quite the literal sense, feels like your chest is being split in two but the heart is immortal in a sense that it keeps on beating. So true, life does not pause for heartbreak. Time does not pause for anyone.
Would just like to say: "Okay, stop. That’s enough growth for one sitting." I decided not to work today and just sit down and do nothing. xD
Thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts sweets ♥️🥺 and yes heartbreak is a painful yet important experience for character development, and the last line, hahahaha cutest! ♥️
The reminder that moving forward is not about proving anything to the person who hurt you felt especially true. Sometimes even healing can quietly become another performance for them. Remembering yourself instead feels like a much freer place to begin.
And heartbreak is such a wild experience. I wouldn't wish it on anyone but I don't know if I'd grown and healed into the person I am now without it to open my eyes.
So vital to not completely get engrossed in a person and totally forget who you are (and were before they came into your life).
heartbreak takes its sweet time, because it’s such an innocent and selfless version of yourself you give to someone. and while you’re allowed to take time to heal, the point is to actually move towards healing and not staying stuck.
As always, a great read. Such an important piece! 🤌🏼🌻
Love this so much ♥️ A key reminder that just like how we enter this world alone, we leave it alone too—and what happens in between can be entirely up to us too! Beautiful work, Sanaa!!
It’s hard to watch someone who hurt you move forward", what can i say....
